tegater 789
Not just hunters but loads of people have been wearing them for years. Certainly since these last few winters. They make them out of all sorts of materials and are generally sold as "trapper" hats.

mackem 30,715
If you transited through moscow airport back in the late 's-early 90's and popped into their duty free all they sold was vodka, matryoshka dolls, and those ushanka hats,I borrowed a red-fox one in canada as I had a skinhead and it was around -15 or -20 that day,my head was boiling and felt itchy You can pick up ushanka hats in the UK,military surplus stores sell them for trendies to wear, normally rabbit or farmed artic fox, they cost maybe £20-40?If you want something that looks real luxurious to wear around Chelsea try and source a sable one

jigsaw 11,905
I remember a mate of mine a few years ago had a genuine real deal russian furry hat,he called in to the yard to check out the pits and we were talking for a bit,so he decided to give one of the dogs a rub.so he leant over and wallop the dog grabed the hat from his head and shook the shit out of it,tore it to bits in seconds.I promised to replace it but I couldnt find a suitable replacement, but jaysus did I laugh. He was white as a ghost after it but I assured him the dog was 100% with people. He found the funnyside of it though afterwards.I think theyre a bit weird looking and around our neighbourhood you would get a lot of unwanted attention wearing one I think Edited November 23, 2011 by jigsaw
